Top 5 Airplane Essentials

The holidays are coming up it’s a hot time for travel! I never thought that I would be the type of person that would need to fly home for Thanksgiving, but it’s crazy where life you. A California girl dropped right in the north central part of the country and dreaming of blue California skies. But before I get there I have a few favorites that I take along with me before I fly.

Now I would like to say that I’ve become a bit of an expert at travel. I’ve had a job that requires me to travel as well as been very for fortunate to have been given opportunities to travel internationally and sat in every class. So after traveling so much, I’ve compiled a small list of the absolute 5 things I cannot travel without.

5) Chanel Hydra Beauty ($50)

I don’t know what it is about airplanes but it makes my lips crack like….crack. Also I have a bad habit of peeling my lips when they’re chapped, but thankfully I have my lip balm to remedy almost instantly. I love this Chanel lip balm ($50) and worth every stinkin’ penny. I was out buying lipstick when the Chanel rep added this on my lips 30 seconds before applying the lipstick and my lips were instantly moist and plump. Do your DSL’s a favor ladies and try this stuff out!

4) Memory Foam Travel Pillow ($20)

If you’re planning on doing any kind of long haul trip or even wanting to catch some Zz’s while you’re in flight, this pillow will change your flight from lame to lux! No matter what cabin you’re in this pillow will change the way you make travel sleep. If you’re in first class this makes your flat bed all the better, but if you’re in coach, throw your back pack or duffel on top of your tray table and lay this bad boy on top. Hands down best sleep you’ll ever have in economy!

3) Hydro Flask Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle ($37)

I cannot leave my house without this bottle. My mother in law gave these out as gifts one Christmas and I’ve held on to it ever since. On every trip that I’ve had this little bottle is a life saver on many occasions. It’s quite large in size but they have several different options to choose from. The best thing about this bottle is that it keeps it’s hot contents hot and cold contents cold for a very long period of time. I left this water bottle filled with ice in the car all day in 100 degree weather and at the end of the day there was still ice in it. It’s magic! Buy one and you’ll thank me later!

2) New Trent PowerPak+ (149.99)

I’ve probably saved myself a few hours of pure boredom if I didn’t have my New Trent to keep my devices alive. It takes forever to charge all the way, which is a downer but I have charged pretty much my iPad/ iPhone 6/ Sony A6000/ Ryan’s Phones & Ipad all on one charge of this bad boy. So on those long days of travel with 3 stopovers and you don’t arrive until 6Am the next morning, this keeps your devices from dying out on you.

1) Bose QuietComfort 20 Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones ($299)

71hI5ryJedL._SL1500_If you’ve never tried these, I suggest you run your ass to a BOSE store to give this a try. I absolutely will NOT enter a commercial airline without these bad boys. This is the best investment I’ve made for my travel and I suggest you do so as well. I spent an 11 hour flight from FRA (Frankfurt, Germany) to DTW (Detroit, MI) and sat in a cacophony of screaming crying babies. Once I bought these and turn them on and play my music, I can’t even hear us take off. Put these on you x-mas wish list or petition for a group gift because you will never fly the same again!
